Kiwi-zed Focale 44 Relax

For most of us, New Zealand is a far far away country. Not for James Pringle. Over there in Auckland, James rides his very customized Relax bike. Check this out :

The first Focale 44 from USA

Nick Strianse from Phoenix, Arizona is the first US citizen to send us his bike check : a custom Noble built at Rage Cycles in Scottsdale, in Arizona too.
- Frame/fork : black Focale 44 Noble, size 58 cm.
- Wheels : Velocity Deep V wheels, white Focale 44 tires.
- Steering : Pivit stem, Pivit riser handlebar, Lizard Skin grips.
- Seating : Brooks B-17 saddle
- Drivetrain : Focale 44 Noble cranks and pedals, gold racing chain.
- Brake : Focale 44 front caliper, random lever.

One more bike from Switzerland...

... From Crab Cycles in Luzern, precisely. This one belong to Daniel from the shop itself. It is always good to have shop owners/employees riding Focale 44 bikes. Here is the setup :

Nishikawa Yoshihiro, a.k.a. Taka, is one of our St-Martin team riders in Japan (St-Martin is our BMX flatland brand). He got a Focale 44 bike from Brett at DirtyBike, our Japan distributor. Here is the bike :

Med's Focale 44

Well, I'm the first one to post a bike on this page. As a co-owner of Focale 44, I had to post my bike to fill in this page before we put this website online. Andorran mountains are too steep to ride fixed, I have a freewheel on my bike.
My Focale 44 is built that way :
- Frame/fork : stock Focale 44, custom purple paint, 52 cm.
- Wheels : old Mavic G40 rims, Mavic hubs, custom theaded female axles
- Steering : Thomson X4 70 mm stem, 31.8 mm flat bar
- Seating : Thomson Elite setback seat post, Fizik Arione saddle
- Drivetrain : Truvativ Rouleur crank, TA 38T chainring, Sedis chain, 15T Maillard freewheel
- Brake : Dia-Compe Tech 77 lever, Tektro caliper
I am happy with this bike. Now, let's see yours, we're waiting for them.
